If you need instant support, live outside our service area, or don't want your pc or notebook to leave your premises, our remote support option can be the solution to quickly resolve your problems.

As long as your computer starts and you have fast internet access we can remotely repair around 90% of computer faults or help you with software issues.

Simply download our file and run it and we can see and control your desktop as if there with you; you still maintain control, so the experience is fully interactive.

  1. decide what kind of help you need:
    SHOW ME HOW - select this option if you need help with using your computer, or require tutoring.
    FIX IT NOW - select this option if you have a problem that requires fixing
  2. provide a detailed description of your requirements in the ticket. Please include as much detail as possible, including the name of any software involved.
  3. we will get back to you with either a free estimate of how long the job will take, or we may request additional information to enable us to do this or we will tell you if the problem is not suitable for remote support. (If you are in our local service area we will offer another solution)
  4. you purchase support credits through our secure PayPal gateway here. All unused credits are valid for 12 months from purchase so you can use them in the future. (They also make a great present!)
  5. we send you a link to download a small programme and give you a unique support key to enter once the programme starts
  6. we are now connected to each other via a secure connection that no-one else can intercept. We can see and control your computer and files but you have ultimate control at all times, can watch us working and can instantly disconnect if you so wish.
  7. we quickly fix the problem and inform you of how many units we will deduct from your account and tell you how many you have left for future use.
  8. we disconnect from your pc and the support session ends. Unless you are a business contract customer with unattended support, the connection programme will remove itself.
  9. we will phone back and explain what was fixed
  10. you continue with your work or play!

Before we start work we will have given you a firm estimate and only in rare cases will we need to charge over our estimated price; if we find a lot more things wrong, the support request is incorrect or you ask us to do more than the original support ticket requested.

  • remote support is charged in 15 minute blocks at £10 per 15 minutes or part of.
  • most remote sessions are between 15 - 45 minutes.
  • the remote software automatically logs the support session start & finish times and uses one of your blocks every 15 minutes. So if a support session starts at 9.00 and finishes at 9.16, for example, it will use 2 whole blocks of time.
  • the minimum purchase is 4 blocks of 15 minute support for £40. Buying more blocks at the same time gives you better value for money! Buy them here
  • all whole unused blocks are valid for 12 months so you have the safety of support at any-time in the future.
  • we never charge for more than 2 hours of remote support - if we think it will take longer than this we will suggest a different repair method. If the repair session actually takes us longer than 2 hours the clock will stop and you will not be charged more.
  • for non-account business customers we will email you an invoice at the end of the session showing the blocks used and cost. For account customers it will be added to your monthly account.
